PDAC 2019 Mining Convention in Toronto, Canada

Samuel Engineering, Inc. (SE) is attending the PDAC 2019 Convention in Toronto, Canada on March 3 – 6.  We look forward to meeting with mining professionals from around the world to discuss new challenges and innovations in the mining industry.  We provide services at every stage of the mining lifecycle from scoping and conceptual studies, prefeasibility studies, NI 43-101 Technical Reports all the way to startup, commissioning and debottlenecking support.  We welcome the opportunity to meet with you to discuss your project(s) and explain how we can provide solutions to your project needs.  SE will be sending two of our senior mining experts to the conference, meetings can be scheduled directly with them.  Thank you and see you there!

Meet our Team

Mark Erickson is a Senior Technical Advisor at Samuel Engineering.  He has degrees in mineral processing engineer (B.MinE.) and business administration (MBA) with over 40 years of engineering, management, operating and consulting experience in the mining industry.  He has performed scoping, prefeasibility, feasibility, EPC/EPCM for mining projects primarily involving precious metals, base metals and ferrous metals.  Additionally, he has served as product manager for process equipment companies specializing in comminution equipment.  He is also a Registered Member (RM) of the Society of Mining Engineers and a Qualified Professional (QP) of the Mining & Mineral Society of America.

Alva Kuestermeyer is a Senior Process Engineer at Samuel Engineering.  He has degrees in metallurgical engineering (B.S.) and mineral economics (M.S.) with over 40 years of engineering, management, operating and consulting experience in the mining industry. He has performed costing and economic studies for scoping, pre-feasibility and feasibility for mining projects involving precious and PGM metals, uranium, base metals, and industrial mineral projects. Additionally, he has served as the project manager, metallurgical engineer and mineral economist for numerous technical, economic, and acquisition due diligence assignments for financial institutions and mining companies. He is also a Registered Member of Society of Mining Engineers and a Fellow Member of AusIMM.
