SE Completes OUR FIRST Ride in the 2019 BP MS 150
Samuel Engineering, Inc. (SE) has ridden in the Bike MS: Colorado for the last 6 years. This last weekend on April 27-28 our team completed our first ever ride in the 2019 BP MS 150 from Houston to Austin, Texas. What a ride it was!
Our team rode 170 miles in two days starting in Houston and crossing the finish line at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, TX. We couldn’t be more thrilled to have been a part of this event and helping raise funds to find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis. Many of our team members have family and close friends living with MS and complete this ride in honor of them. To date, SE has raised more than $75,000 for the National MS Society.
As if the ride isn’t challenging enough, our president, Everod Samuel, completed the entire ride on a penny farthing bicycle. This is his seventh Bike MS event that he has finished on his penny farthing and has become a symbol of our team and an inspiration for many riders. It’s an incredible feat of athleticism and skill and he shows no signs of stopping anytime soon. You will see Everod and the rest of our team at the Bike MS: Colorado on June 29-30th. Come and see us there!

What is BP MS 150?
The Texas chapter of Bike MS is a two-day ride that travels through quaint towns and back roads where riders will enjoy rolling terrain through Texas. BP MS 150 is more than a ride. It’s an experience grounded in camaraderie and marked by passion, inspiration, determination and pure enjoyment. It is an experience you’ll never forget, shared with new friends and old. The BP Bike MS 150 is the largest MS ride in the country and has raised more than $3.6 million every year.
