SE Rides to the Finish Line of Another Bike MS Colorado
Samuel Engineering, Inc. (SE) completed another successful Bike MS ride on June 29-30. This was our second MS ride of 2019 after completing the Houston to Austin BPMS150 in April. This event is close to our hearts and has become one of our greatest highlights of the year.
Our team rode 160+ miles in two days through scenic roads across Colorado. Riders travel through small towns and steep inclines to not only challenge themselves and build friendships, but to raise funds to help find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis. That’s why we ride. Many of our team members have family and close friends living with MS and complete this ride in honor of them. To date, SE has raised more than $90,000 for the National MS Society.
This year we also had the honor of volunteering to setup and run Rest Stop #6 at the Buckhorn Presbyterian Church for our third year. Our volunteers were there to hand out food, prepare sandwiches, and freshly made snow cones to all of the riders. Thank you to all of the riders and volunteers!

Bike MS Colorado: powered by Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield
Bike MS: Colorado isn’t just any ride. It’s a spectacular two-day ride that brings together all types of cyclists from across the country riding to support those living with MS. Cyclists travel through unique towns along the front range weaving through a countryside that borders the foothills. With breathtaking views and fresh mountain air you’ll be in good company with those who seek a quality ride that offers support, safety and entertainment for all cyclists.
While we have different mileage routes, a highlight of the ride is our “classic” route where you’ll be treated to a hearty climb up Horsetooth Reservoir with pristine lakeside views with an elevation gain of over 3,000 feet – and before you start the climb you’ll be greeted with and ice-cold snow cone. It’s known as one of Colorado’s most scenic outdoor paradises, but all routes provide views of colorful Colorado’s Rocky Mountain National Park.
