JOIN SAMUEL ENGINEERING AT THE 2019 AEMA ANNUAL MEETING & EXPOSITION in SPARKS, NEVADA

Samuel Engineering, Inc. (SE) is attending the 2019 AEMA Annual Meeting & Exposition in Sparks, Nevada on December 1 – 6.  The American Exploration & Mining Association (AEMA) annual meeting is the second largest and longest running annual mining convention in the U.S.  Attendees will hear from 100 prominent, informative speakers and have the opportunity to network with over 250 exhibitors.   The AEMA Annual Meeting hosts a strong technical program; timely and relevant short courses; and important social opportunities with industry professionals.

Mark Erickson is a Senior Technical Advisor at Samuel Engineering.  He has degrees in mineral processing engineer (B.MinE.) and business administration (MBA) with over 40 years of engineering, management, operating and consulting experience in the mining industry.  He has performed scoping, prefeasibility, feasibility, EPC/EPCM for mining projects primarily involving precious metals, base metals and ferrous metals.  Additionally, he has served as product manager for process equipment companies specializing in comminution equipment.  He is also a Registered Member (RM) of the Society of Mining Engineers and a Qualified Professional (QP) of the Mining & Mineral Society of America.

Alva Kuestermeyer is a Senior Process Engineer at Samuel Engineering.  He has degrees in metallurgical engineering (B.S.) and mineral economics (M.S.) with over 40 years of engineering, management, operating and consulting experience in the mining industry. He has performed costing and economic studies for scoping, pre-feasibility and feasibility for mining projects involving precious and PGM metals, uranium, base metals, and industrial mineral projects. Additionally, he has served as the project manager, metallurgical engineer and mineral economist for numerous technical, economic, and acquisition due diligence assignments for financial institutions and mining companies. He is also a Registered Member of Society of Mining Engineers and a Fellow Member of AusIMM.

Thomas Gunthardt is a Senior Project Manager and very active in the mining and metals business development having managed domestic and international project, in the Americas, Asia, the Middle East and Africa, for operating companies and EPCM firms.  He has over thirty years pf experience, applying his skill sets in development and execution of Projects (primarily mining), by firstly establishing a project’s business viability and subsequent Project Stage Gates, Merger and Acquisitions due diligence work, technical development, construction, commissioning / start‐up, and subsequently operations, of Green Fields and  Brown Fields projects, ranging from early study stages to full execution. He has been in a problem solving role as project manager or director, coordinating with corporate management, plant operators and mine personnel, and various contractors and contractors.
