SE WELCOMES MARK OLMSTED
Samuel Engineering is excited to announce the addition of Mark Olmsted as the Director of our Pipeline Services Group.
Mark is a Professional Engineer with over 30 years of experience as a Pipeline Director, Manager of Projects, Project Engineer, Structural Manager and Structural Engineer. Mark has worked in the oil and gas, petrochemical, mining, power, underground facilities and electrical utilities industries. In his pipeline director role, Mark had over 25 direct reports which included project/program managers, project engineers, pipeline engineers, mapping designers, GIS, ROW, permitting, survey and CM&I professionals. In his role at SE, Mark will review pipeline proposals and provide high level technical and project management oversight of all pipeline projects, while actively managing his own projects. Mark specializes in urban and industrial pipeline projects with the inherit challenges from the technical and stakeholder management aspects. In addition, Mark has extensive experience in TIC cost reporting for projects with earned value and project cost and schedule forecasts through the project lifecycle.
