SE Expands Engineering Services in Texas
As Samuel Engineering, Inc. (SE) celebrates 25 years in business, we take another big step in 2021, expanding our engineering team to Texas.
SE now has offices in Tyler, TX, and Abilene, TX. The Texas engineering team offers multi-discipline engineering and design services with extensive experience in the refining, midstream, syngas, and power industries. The team is experienced in process studies, PDP development, all phases of FEL work, FEED, and detailed engineering for full EPC or EPCM projects. Our experienced engineering team in Texas has an average of over 20 years in the industry and has worked together as a team for several years prior to joining Samuel Engineering.
SE’s Texas operations will be led by Clay Boyce, P.E.
Mr. Boyce has over 26 years of process engineering and engineering management experience in the oil and gas industry, primarily in the engineering execution of EPC projects in the downstream market. He has a strong process engineering background in the syngas industry, leading the process work on various hydrogen, carbon monoxide, and syngas projects. Prior to joining SE, Mr. Boyce held various positions at EPC firms in Tyler, Texas. He was involved in growth plans to expand into the syngas and midstream industries, and he was also a founding member of a startup EPC office, developing workflow guidelines, engineering tools, and standards, and providing technical support for business development.
Mr. Boyce holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Arkansas and is a Professional Engineer.
