Our Origins: From Electrical Engineering Firm to Global EPFC Leader
Samuel Engineering was founded in 1996 by Claudia Samuel, MSEE, BSEE, as a specialized electrical engineering firm. Over the decades, our capabilities expanded dramatically; first into other engineering disciplines, then into procurement, fabrication, construction, and full project management. Today, we provide comprehensive solutions across heavy industrial markets worldwide, supported by 30+ years of expertise.
With more than 400+ employees as recently documented (and significantly more when including Samuel EPC and field personnel), our teams apply decades of technical experience across every major industrial sector, including:

1996 — Founding of Samuel Engineering
We began as a Denver‑area electrical engineering firm dedicated to providing innovative solutions to industrial clients. Over time, our excellence in project delivery helped expand our scope and geographic footprint.
2000s–2010s — Expansion Into Multi‑Discipline Engineering & EPC Services
Our continued investment in people, technology, and project execution allowed us to add full‑service engineering, procurement, construction management (EPCM), feasibility studies, and commissioning capabilities.
Global Reach Established
Samuel Engineering has now worked on projects across nearly every continent, supporting mining operations in South America, energy projects, process plants in Europe, and industrial facilities across the U.S. and abroad.
2021 — Adding Construction & Fabrication
A major evolution in our integrated delivery model occurred in 2021, when Samuel EPC, LLC was officially formed as a Texas‑based fabrication and construction company.
Samuel EPC features 40+ acres of facilities in Abilene, Texas, offering steel fabrication, pipe fabrication, vessel fabrication, modularization, and full EPC field execution. This vertically integrated capability allows us to self‑perform critical project scopes, reducing schedule risks and improving safety and quality.
2020s — Continued Growth & Industry Recognition
As of 2025, Samuel Engineering had completed more than 5,000 projects globally, demonstrating our consistent delivery across mining, power, oil and gas, renewable energy, and other heavy industrial sectors.
