Today, Samuel Engineering proudly celebrates International Women in Engineering Day (INWED)—a global recognition of the contributions women make across the engineering profession. This year’s celebration carries even deeper meaning for our organization, as 2026 marks 30 years of Samuel Engineering.
Our story began in 1996, when Claudia Samuel, a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE), founded Samuel Engineering with a vision that extended far beyond technical delivery. She built this company on a foundation of compassion, integrity, and engineering excellence, demonstrating that strong leadership and technical innovation can—and should—go hand in hand with inclusivity and respect.
At a time when representation in engineering was even more limited than it is today, Claudia’s leadership helped redefine expectations. She established not only a successful engineering firm, but also a culture grounded in opportunity, collaboration, and empowerment. Her example set a lasting standard for what a truly inclusive and forward-thinking engineering organization looks like.

A Legacy That Continues to Shape Who We Are
Three decades later, Claudia’s vision continues to guide Samuel Engineering’s growth and success. What began as a bold idea has evolved into a trusted engineering partner delivering complex solutions across industries—while remaining firmly grounded in the values on which it was built.
Today, we are proud to recognize the women across our organization who carry that legacy forward. From engineers and designers to project managers, analysts, and leaders, women at Samuel Engineering play a critical role in:
• Delivering innovative, high-quality engineering solutions
• Strengthening collaboration across multidisciplinary teams
• Mentoring and developing the next generation of professionals
• Driving continuous improvement and operational excellence
• Supporting clients and communities with expertise and care
Their contributions are essential—not only to the success of our projects, but to the strength and culture of our company.
Recognizing the Broader Impact of Women in Engineering
International Women in Engineering Day is an opportunity to celebrate achievements—but also to reflect on the importance of continued progress within the industry. Engineering thrives on diverse perspectives, creative problem-solving, and inclusive thinking. When more voices are represented, better outcomes follow—for projects, for clients, and for communities.
At Samuel Engineering, we remain committed to:
• Fostering an inclusive workplace where all employees feel valued and supported
• Encouraging professional growth and leadership development for women at every stage of their careers
• Creating opportunities for mentorship and knowledge sharing
• Building a culture where innovation is strengthened by diverse perspectives
We believe that supporting women in engineering is not just the right thing to do—it is essential to building stronger teams and delivering better engineering solutions.
Celebrating the Women Who Make It Possible
As we commemorate both International Women in Engineering Day and our 30-year milestone, we take a moment to celebrate the individuals who make our success possible.
To the women of Samuel Engineering—and to women across the engineering industry:
Your work matters.
Your presence matters.
And your impact extends far beyond the projects you help deliver.
Your leadership, expertise, and determination continue to shape the future of engineering in meaningful and lasting ways.
Looking Ahead
As we look toward the future, we do so with a deep appreciation for the foundation that has been built over the past three decades—and with confidence in the people who will carry it forward.
Here’s to 30 years of Samuel Engineering—and to the women who have helped define every step of that journey.
