In addition to Christian ministries, we have experience designing many project types including office, laboratory, historic, multifamily and neighborhood coffee shops.
Who We Are
Founded by Everod & Claudia Samuel, Legacy Design exists to serve Christian ministries, providing architecture & engineering through advocacy.
We are a specialized advocate to our Christian ministry clients’, supporting and guiding them through the design and construction process.
Legacy Design emerged from Samuel Engineering. For the better part of two decades, Samuel Engineering has provided engineering, architecture, construction management, and a myriad of other building and project development services to diverse clientele around the world.
While God has richly blessed those efforts, the most important work on earth is the expansion of God’s kingdom as laid out in Matthew 28, and it our heart to apply the knowledge, expertise, vision, and resources of our professions to this Great Commission.

We offer audio/visual/lighting design services to christian ministries!
We have performed AVL design on past projects and are excited for this expansion of Legacy Design services.
So what is AVL?
Audio/Visual/Lighting design is one of those things we don’t think about much, but it’s part of our daily life. AVL is the technical and artistic creation of intentional environments using the mediums of sound, light, and image to convey a message, emotion, or tell a story.
Architects define spaces and buildings to create a place that facilitates a multitude of goals. AVL takes the created space of auditoriums, concert halls, event centers, etc., and fills them with enriched experience. The concert experience captured in the photo above is amazing, vibrant, excellent, colorful, emotive, and expressive, made possible with exceptional AVL design and a team of dozens of people. Concerts like these are the height of what is possible through AVL design, but its application in your ministry is equally important.

If you’re looking for an architect for your upcoming project…
It’s important that you find an architect that you like and trust. Equally, it’s important that we work with clients who align with our ministry.
To determine whether we’re the right fit for each other, please email and tell us a little about yourself and your project. We’ll respond by sending you some additional information and we’ll schedule a phone or in person consultation during which we’ll give you some initial thoughts, and answer your questions. We look forward to hearing from you!
Legacy Design can provide a Needs & Options review to help determine the feasibility of your potential project.
