Samuel Engineering provided end-to-end engineering, design, and procurement services for the Anadarko CO₂ flood gathering and injection pipeline system in Midwest Wyoming. The multi-discipline team delivered process, mechanical, piping, civil/structural, electrical/instrumentation, and construction management expertise. Key deliverables included hazard analysis, equipment specifications, detailed pipeline layouts, and construction documentation.
Project Description
The project established a new gathering and injection infrastructure for an existing CO₂ flood field. Produced oil and water were routed from wellhead manifolds to satellite production buildings for bulk separation. Separate pipelines carried liquids and CO₂ to central facilities, where super-critical CO₂ and water were reconditioned and returned via injection skids.
