Grey Hydrogen Plants

Definition: Large-scale SMR units integrated into refining and petrochemical complexes.
Applications: Refining, ammonia production, methanol synthesis.
Projects: Large-scale SMR units integrated into refining and petrochemical complexes

Blue Hydrogen Plants

Definition: Similar to grey hydrogen but includes Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) to reduce emissions.

Applications: Decarbonized industrial processes, clean fuels.

Projects: SMR or Autothermal Reforming (ATR) plants with CO₂ sequestration infrastructure.

Green Hydrogen Plants

Definition: Hydrogen produced via electrolysis of water powered by renewable energy (solar, wind, hydro).

Applications: Energy storage, fuel for transportation, feedstock for green ammonia and methanol.

Projects: Electrolyzer-based plants, hydrogen hubs, integrated renewable energy projects.

Autothermal Reforming

In the quest for sustainable and efficient energy solutions, autothermal reforming (ATR) emerges as a pivotal technology, in the hydrogen production landscape.

Steam Methane Reforming

Samuel provides solutions trough this method which is the most cost-effective method of hydrogen production.

Partial Oxidation
