Samuel provided end-to-end engineering, procurement, and construction management for the Mentone Gas Plant expansion, which added two 200 MMSCFD cryogenic trains. Their scope encompassed process design criteria, detailed mechanical and piping layouts, structural and civil works, and full electrical/instrumentation integration. The team supported commissioning and startup to ensure the new trains operated flawlessly from day one.
Project Description
The Mentone Gas Plant expansion in Mentone, Texas added two cryogenic trains, each processing 200 MMSCFD of feed gas. Each train features amine treating, molecular sieve dehydration, refrigeration, residue gas compression, and NGL stabilization, tied together with advanced instrumentation and control networks.
