Title: Senior Director
About: Raymond Manes has 25+ years of professional experience in piping and mechanical design for the Mining, Chemical, Oil and Gas, Water Treatment, Nuclear and Process Industries. Ray also has extensive experience in utility design including HVAC design, water distribution, sewer and domestic water distribution, steam and condensate including temperature control, refrigeration, cooling tower systems, sterile air, solar and dust collection systems.
Ray’s field experience has included project assignments in North and South America, Africa, Europe and in Central Asia, where he has been responsible for providing clients with professional services including construction management, mechanical and piping supervision, estimating, and quality assurance.
Ray’s current position of Director of Projects includes the oversight of all project execution, development and implementation of project management practices, and the leadership and development of his Project and Construction Management team.
As Operations Manager, he directs all engineering disciplines, project engineering, CAD and MIS, procurement, estimating, project controls and construction management departments.
As a Project Manager, he has managed all coordination and interface activities from project conception to turn over to client for mineral processing facilities, feasibility studies, government facilities, and industrial facilities.
As a Construction Manager and Commissioning Supervisor, he executed construction activities in extreme climates, in politically unstable countries, and adapted to local construction methods. He has also supervised construction using highly skilled labor and modern construction methods.
